San Antonio Agricultural Cooperative

The agricultural cooperative of San Antonio is a cooperative of agricultural services and supplies to assist farmers with the development of their agricultural and/or livestock activity. The cooperative is formed by more than 1,500 members, neighbours and farmers of the Pitiusa islands (Ibiza and Formentera), capable of combining traditional farming with modern production techniques. The cooperative has an almond cracking machine used to deshell almonds sold by its members. The machine can also be rented by the hour. Carob is also processed from pod to powder at the cooperative’s onsite plant. Both almonds and carob powder can be bought at the cooperative’s shop.
